The Chula Vista Learning Community Charter School is proud to offer a scholarship to students who have demonstrated an active life in the school community. This scholarship is open to current Chula Vista Learning Community Charter School 12thgrade students.
Legacy Scholarship:
In 2019, the Christyn Pope Legacy Scholarship was inaugurated in honor of a distinguished member of the Chula Vista Learning Community Charter School who devoted more than 14 years of her life to the school community. Ms. Pope was an extraordinary human being and served as Ambassador of Education at the Elementary School where she was instrumental in revitalizing the MicroSociety Program. In 2013, she became Principal at the Middle School and later at the High School. Ms. Pope also worked with our community to accredit our school through the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
Eligibility
ยท Twelfth students who are in current good standing at the Chula Vista Learning Community Charter School who may have participated in the MicroSociety program during their educational career or have demonstrated qualities that exemplify the spirit of dual language, community engagement, global perspectives, and social justice.
